The Fubon Center’s mission is to:

- Increase Stern’s reputation as a center of impactful technology and innovation research.
- Foster relationships between scholars and changemakers in academia, industry, and government.
- Enhance our constituents’ access to the resources they need to contribute meaningfully to scholarship and practice.

The Center was founded thanks to a generous endowed gift from alumnus [Richard Ming-Hsing Tsai](https://www.stern.nyu.edu/experience-stern/about/departments-centers-initiatives/fubon-center/about/founding-donor-0) (MBA, ’81), the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fubon Financial Holding Co., Ltd., and Fubon Financial Holding Co., Ltd.
