Ashish Contractor is a Managing Director at [Moelis & Company](https://www.moelis.com/team/ashish-contractor/), advising pharmaceutical and biotech clients on strategic and financial matters. He has nearly 30 years of experience across the life sciences sector, working on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, private placements, hostile takeovers, and corporate defense, with deep expertise at the intersection of healthcare strategy, capital markets, and board-level advisory. Before joining Moelis in 2018, Ashish was a Managing Director at Greenhill & Co., where he led the firm’s Life Sciences coverage, and earlier held roles at Lehman Brothers, including in its Private Equity Group and Financial Institutions Group. Ashish graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Finance and International Business from NYU Stern School of Business and holds an M.B.A. with honors from Harvard Business School.
