MBA Students Take 2018 "Doing Business in… Argentina" Course

In March, a group of MBA students traveled to Buenos Aires for NYU Stern’s “Doing Business in… Argentina” course. Highlights of the trip included a company visits with 3M Argentina and River Plate, a stop at the Tango Porteño Dinner Show, as well as daily lectures on financial markets, private equity funds and consumer behavior in South America.

“Many of the students on the trip had never traveled to South America before and being able to be immersed in the city of Buenos Aires provided a unique learning opportunity that cannot be taught in a classroom,” said MBA student Karon Walsh. “Hearing from local professors and professionals provided students with a unique and honest viewpoint so we could gain perspective on the current economic and business climate.”
