# MBA Students Take 2017 "Doing Business in… Italy" Course

In May, a group of MBA students traveled to Milan for NYU Stern’s “Doing Business in… Italy” course. Highlights of the trip included corporate visits to Dolce & Gabbana and Mantero, a stop at the Vitale Barberis Canonico showroom, as well as daily lectures on the evolution of fashion and luxury brands in the Italian market.

“A global perspective is key to my MBA goals and the DBi program has been a great way to achieve that,” said MBA student Ryan Piela. “Stepping outside the Stern bubble, into a realm of people that think differently, provides an amazing perspective for future endeavors.”
