In May, a group of Executive MBA students traveled to Prague, Czech Republic for a Global Study Tour. The students met with representatives with such companies as Skoda, IKEA, L’Oréal, Citibank, AAA and the Czech National Bank. Highlights of the trip also included a sight-seeing tour that featured stops at Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, and Old Royal Palace, and a discussion with Professor Karel Dyba of the University of Economics.

“Our Global Study Tour to Prague was exciting and dynamic,” said EMBA student Rich Bryant. “As a finance and investments professional, there is no substitute in the learning and due diligence process for having boots on the ground and spending time in-country hearing from local experts and market participants. We returned to New York with valuable insights into the Czech and Central and Eastern European markets and economies following meetings with local entrepreneurs and venture capitalists and a total of seven companies over four days comprised of Czech enterprises as well as large multinational businesses.  The access we had to world class speakers from top tier companies like IKEA, L’Oréal and Citibank gave us a high impact experience that you can't get anywhere else.”
