NYU Stern accepts an array of standardized tests; four percent of applicants submitted MCAT/LSAT/DAT, 14 percent took the Executive Assessment, and nine percent received test waivers."

In August, NYU Stern’s Online MS in Quantitative Management (MSQM) Program welcomed its newest students, marking the program’s fifth cohort. Stern’s online MSQM has been synonymous with innovation from the start; at launch, Stern was the first and only top-ranked US business school to establish a master’s in management online.

Excerpt from Financial Times -- "As Covid restrictions have eased, this has allowed for freer global movement, but some business schools have adapted their strategies. The Trium Global EMBA — jointly delivered by HEC Paris, New York University’s Stern School of Business and the London School of Economics — has yet to reinstate its China module, which was suspended during the pandemic.

'We believe there will be less business with China in the years to come, and therefore we decided to explore other interesting locations,” says Laurence Lehmann-Ortega, HEC’s academic director for the Trium programme. The school has introduced Singapore as an alternative location for this year and next, and South Korea from 2025 onwards.'"
 

Dear Members of the Stern Community,

Words cannot do justice to the horrifying news and images to which many of us woke up on Saturday, of a brutal attack on Israeli civilians within its borders that left hundreds—including young children—dead, families dismembered, and many others kidnapped and whose whereabouts are unknown, acts of unbridled terrorism that deserve the strongest possible condemnation. Nor is it possible to rationalize and come to terms with the suffering that is now encompassing the entire region as war rages on, cutting short and maiming thousands more of Israeli and Palestinian lives. The violence shows no signs of abating.

The new class earned an average GMAT score of 732, just shy of last year’s record of 733. They also showed their academic strengths with an average undergraduate GPA of 3.61–again, nearly identical to last year’s 3.62. Stern also maintained the diversity of the newest MBA class, as percentages of women, international students and U.S. minorities remained virtually unchanged compared to last year."

Excerpt from Poets & Quants — “Professor Michael North for Leadership in Organizations. I left his classes more energized than when I came in. His facilitation of the class discussion was impeccable, and he would blend concepts with discussions around and opinions about the case at hand. Plus, he’s the most accessible professor I’ve met. Outside of class, I would write long emails to him about my thoughts on the class or a discussion during class and he would take the time to respond to each one I wrote. For context, some email chains lasted for weeks and months after the class was over. I think that level of openness, eloquence and humility make him an incredibly impactful educator. Oh, and his slides were the coolest I’ve ever seen!”
