But because I focus on a topic from multiple perspectives, I find that some of the best things I’ve read have been by historians, economists, anthropologists, and philosophers, especially those philosophers who have been reading empirical literature. I think of myself as a social scientist, almost as much as I think of myself as a social psychologist."
