Excerpt from [Poets & Quants](http://poetsandquants.com/2016/01/06/nyu-stern-total-pay-up/) -- "The graduating MBAs at New York University’s Stern School of Business saw a 4.8% increase in total starting compensation packages last year, reaching a new record of $144,199, from $137,582 in 2014. The rise was largely driven by a $10,000 boost in median base salaries of $120,000, up from $110,000 in 2014 and $100,000 in 2013."
