Excerpt from [The New York Times](http://www.nytimes.com/2016/01/08/upshot/can-us-remain-an-island-of-stability-in-the-global-economy.html?_r=0) -- "'The United States may not have incredibly robust economic growth and has plenty of problems you can point to,' said Ian Bremmer, president of the Eurasia Group, a geopolitical consultancy. 'But from a stability perspective, when things are more unstable, the United States in some ways gets stronger' as both people and investment dollars gravitate to the nation’s relative stability."
