Excerpt from [Working Capital Review](https://workingcapitalreview.com/2019/08/podcast-robert-seamans-nyu-ai-and-the-economy/) -- "I’m excited about the potential for AI to spur economic growth, but I think that the effects on labor, they get talked about in the popular press, have been misleading. There will be some substitution, but I think it’s going to far more be the case that there’ll be a lot more complementarities between AI and jobs. I think that there’ll be, as a result, a lot of employment growth. Those stories don’t get told enough, but I’m pretty optimistic about the net effect of AI on jobs."
