# Professor Anindya Ghose explains why he believes aggregation apps in India have bargaining power when negotiating for commissions

There might be issues but these intermediaries have a significant brand recall and brand affinity. 'At the end of the day, most of the aggregator apps have a heavier hand and have the ability to dictate terms, at least to the institutions in the mid and low end of the spectrum.'"
