# Professor Arun Sundararajan shares his views on the sharing economy

I think that the process that we're seeing is simply a natural outcome of experimentation at the early stages of a phenomenon. So today's sharing economy are sort of early stage instances of a much broader transition in the economy. We're inventing a new way of organizing economic activity. Any time that happens, different companies will experiment with different ways of sort of fulfilling the dream, and some of them will succeed and grow on to be big and some of them won't."
