In their paper, Corporate Purpose and Financial Performance (hbswk.hbs.edu/item/corporate-purpose-and-financial-performance), published by Harvard Business School last year, the trio found that 'firms exhibiting both high purpose and clarity have systematically higher future accounting and stock market performance'."
