# Professor David Yermack comments on top general counsels' compensation

'It’s fairly typical,' said [David Yermack](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/david-yermack), who studies executive compensation at the NYU Stern School of Business. 'You’re not gonna lose a guy you really want over moving expenses.'"
