# Professor Nicholas Economides offers commentary on the AT&amp;T-Time Warner trial

Excerpt from [Bloomberg](https://www.bloomberg.com/news/audio/2018-04-13/economides-on-at-t-time-warner-trial-audio) -- "Well I think there were certain weaknesses in the testimony of Carl Shapiro who was the key witness, key economist, for the government. I think AT&amp;T was able to poke some holes in his testimony. At the same time, I do not believe that AT&amp;T has managed to establish a theory that says consumers are going to be better off after the merger."
