Brown](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/stephen-brown) was named executive editor of the Financial Analysts Journal, effective Sept. 1, the CFA Institute, which owns the publication, announced Wednesday. Mr. Brown — the David S. Loeb professor of finance at the Leonard N. Stern School of Business, New York University — was appointed by the institute."
