#  The Singleton Foundation Gifts $250,000 to NYU Stern on Behalf of Ken Langone as Part of Lifetime Achievement Award

Recently, the Singleton Foundation for Financial Literacy &amp; Entrepreneurship awarded Ken Langone (MBA '60), Co-Founder of The Home Depot; NYU Trustee; and Stern Executive Board Member; with its Lifetime Achievement award, which recognizes and honors a living CEO whose work demonstrates a combination of talent, vision, focus, and commitment. The award included a donation to the honoree's charity of choice, and Ken Langone designated NYU Stern and his namesake program, the [Langone Part-Time MBA](https://www.stern.nyu.edu/programs-admissions/mba-programs/part-time-mba-manhattan), to receive a gift of $250,000.
