# Stern's Advancing Women in Business Scholarship is spotlighted

Excerpt from [Accepted.com](http://blog.accepted.com/announcing-nyu-sterns-advancing-women-in-business-scholarship-for-full-time-mba-students/) -- "Beginning with the class of 2019, full-time MBA students at NYU Stern will have a new merit-based scholarship opportunity, the Advancing Women in Business Scholarship. The scholarship, which will be awarded to students who demonstrate a deep and enduring commitment to advancing women in business, will cover the first year of tuition and mandatory fees. Stern anticipates awarding $1 million in Advancing Women in Business scholarships to the class of 2019. The scholarship will not be renewable for the second year of MBA studies."
