Lance Erickson is joining NYU’s Stern School of Business as an Adjunct Professor for the Spring 2018 semester. Dr. Erickson is currently a Professor of Marketing in the Larry L. Luing School of Business at Berkeley College in New York. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University, and an MBA and Ph.D. in Marketing from New York University.

His research focuses on the consumer socialization of children, with an emphasis on the development of price knowledge in children. His work has appeared in publications such as the Journal of Consumer Psychology and Advances in Consumer Research.

He began his career in marketing at Grey Advertising, where he worked primarily on the Hasbro Toys account, and later at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he was a brand manager for the Ban and Clairol brands. He currently consults with corporate clients on market research issues, specializing in survey construction and data analysis.
