Eric's research investigates how and why people act unethically in pursuit of indicators of success (e.g., wealth, power, status). He addresses these topics from the perspective of both the individual success-seekers, with a focus on the interplay between personality and emotion, and the observers who evaluate those individuals and their behaviors, from close colleagues to society at large.
