Kate Brideau has been teaching at New York University since 2010, and joined the Stern School of Business as an Adjunct Professor. Professor Brideau's research and teaching emphasize critical awareness of the forms communications take—informed not only by rhetorical and linguistic studies, but also by the history of technology, and media design. In addition to Stern, Professor Brideau has taught for the Gallatin School of Individualized Study, for the College of Arts &amp; Science's Expository Writing Program, and currently teaches several courses in the department of Media, Culture, and Communication. Kate is also a developmental and copy editor, working with academic texts and comic books.
