Professor **[Hila Lifshitz-Assaf](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/hila-lifshitzassaf)** recently received the [2017 Industry Studies Association Giarratani Rising Star Award](https://www.industrystudiesconference.org/awards/rising-star-award) and accompanying grant from the Marion Ewing Kauffman Foundation for her paper, “Dismantling Knowledge Boundaries at NASA: From Problem Solvers to Solution Seekers.”

[Money, Banking and Financial Markets](http://www.moneyandbanking.com/), a blog co-authored by Professor **[Kim Schoenholtz](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/kim-schoenholtz)**, has been recognized as one of the “[Top 100 Economics Blogs of 2017](https://www.intelligenteconomist.com/economics-blogs/)” by Intelligent Economist.

Along with his co-author, Professor **[Johannes Stroebel](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/johannes-stroebel)** received the inaugural [AQR Asset Management Institute Young Researcher Award](https://www.london.edu/faculty-and-research/research-centres/aqr-institute-of-asset-management/awards#.WI-UbrYrLBI), which recognizes academics producing relevant, innovative and impactful research who have made a significant contribution to the field of asset management.

Professor **[Tensie Whelan](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/tensie-whelan)** has been appointed to the [Board of Directors for Globescan](http://www.globescan.com/news-and-analysis/press-releases/press-releases-2017/419-globescan-announces-the-appointment-of-new-board-member-2017.html), a consultancy group advising clients on strategic objectives in the areas of reputation, sustainability and purpose. ###  Past Faculty Awards & Accolades
