# Faculty Awards & Accolades – March 2016 1 Research Highlights March 1, 2016 ![](/sites/default/files/styles/246w/public/assets/images/trophy-article.jpg?itok=9-13tVO7)> **Stern** currently [ranks #1](http://hq.ssrn.com/rankings/Ranking_Display.cfm?TMY_gID=2&TRN_gID=4) for new downloads of research according to the Social Science Research Network (SSRN) ranking of the top 1,000 business schools. The Fondation Banque de France recently awarded a grant totaling EUR 30,000 to Professor [**Viral Acharya**](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/viral-acharya) and co-authors to support their research, titled “[Whatever It Takes: The Real Effects of Unconventional Monetary Policy](https://www.imf.org/external/np/res/seminars/2015/arc/pdf/Eisert_pres.pdf).” The *Journal of Advertising Research* recently honored Professor **[Samuel Craig](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/c-samuel-craig)** as the Best Academic Reviewer for 2015. Professors **[Itamar Drechsler](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/itamar-drechsler)**, **[Alexi Savov](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/alexi-savov)** and **[Philipp Schnabl](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/philipp-schnabl)** won the 2016 Glucksman Institute Research Prize for their paper, “[The Deposits Channel of Monetary Policy.](http://pages.stern.nyu.edu/~pschnabl/public_html/DSS_june2015.pdf)” The [Institut de la finance structurée et des instruments dérivés de Montréal](http://ifsid.ca/) (IFSID) recently awarded Professor **[Marti Subrahmanyam](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/marti-subrahmanyam)** a C$50,000 grant for his research on “Credit Default Swaps and Sovereign Risk Spirals.” Professor Subrahmanyam was also recently awarded a $30,000 grant from the [CME GroupFoundation](http://www.cmegroupfoundation.org/) for his project on “Detecting Informed Trading in Illiquid Option Markets.” Professor **[Arun Sundararajan](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/arun-sundararajan)** was recently named to the [2016 Thinkers50 Radar](http://thinkers50.com/wp-content/uploads/T50-RADAR-2016-PRESSRELEASE-Jan-29-2016.pdf) list of the 30 thinkers most likely to shape the future of how organizations are managed and led. **Raluca Ursu**, who is joining Stern’s Marketing Department faculty this fall, was awarded an honorable mention in the [2015 Alden G.
