# Professor Sam Chandan in London and Paris: Economy, Infrastructure, and Real Estate

0 February 19, 2026 ![Professor Sam Chandan](/sites/default/files/styles/246w/public/2026-02/55057344066_32de686622_o_1.jpg?itok=H9sTGjcI)Professor Sam Chandan, Director of the Chen Institute for Global Real Estate Finance, participated in a faculty-led travel course to London with a group of 26 MBA students interested in real estate industry. During this course, the London Alumni Regional Committee hosted a student-alumni event, where Professor Chandan lead a discussion about the economy, infrastructure, and real estate outlook across the U.S. and the U.K. The discussion was moderated by Aniruddha Barua (MBA ’14), Director of Real Estate &amp; Hospitality Investment Banking at PJT Partners and Member of the NYU Stern London Alumni Regional Committee.

Professor Chandan then joined alumni in Paris to share similar insights on economic trends, infrastructure priorities, and the real estate outlook across the US and France. The program was introduced by Alina Kalintceva (BS ’17), Chair of the France Alumni Regional Committee, and moderated by Stacy Meichtry, Paris Bureau Chief at the Wall Street Journal.
