## Goldman Sachs, IBM and JPMorganChase are Among Companies to Host Alumni and Students for an Exchange of Ideas

The Corporate Ambassadors Program was created to help alumni at companies with a large or growing Stern presence stay connected to the School. The program brings Stern alumni across the city together to discuss trends shaping finance, healthcare, technology and AI, ethics, and leadership through events featuring faculty and industry leaders.

Hosted at leading companies, the program extends Stern’s thought leadership directly into the workplace while fostering
alumni pride and creating experiential learning, networking, and recruitment opportunities for students. Recent hosts have included Goldman Sachs, IBM, JPMorganChase, Microsoft and Pfizer.

### Jonathan Haidt at Goldman Sachs

Last fall at Goldman Sachs’ New York headquarters, Stern alumni gathered for an evening with Professor Jonathan Haidt, Thomas Cooley Professor of Ethical Leadership at NYU Stern, in conversation with Goldman’s Chris Gallea (BS ’88), vice chairman of investment banking and a member of the Stern Executive Board.

Their discussion centered on themes from Haidt’s book, *The Anxious Generation*, which explores the impact of technology and social media on youth mental health. Haidt shared research on how digital environments shape behavior and well-being, while Gallea reflected on leadership responsibility in an era of rapid technological change.

### Anindya Ghose at IBM

In April, IBM hosted Professor Anindya Ghose for a discussion, "Blueprint for an AI-Driven Economy: Regulation, Reskilling, and Transformation," which invited alumni from IBM along with those who work in the tech industry more broadly, alongside Stern students interested in the area. The event reflected the program’s goal of bringing together academic insight and industry experience while building Stern connections and pride.

### Suzy Welch at JPMorganChase

In May, JPMorganChase hosted Professor Suzy Welch in conversation with Fei-Fei Zhang (BS ’12) managing director, investment banking, who spoke about her new book, *Becoming You*, and the methodology behind it. Welch discussed how the framework helps individuals clarify their values and career direction, sparking a conversation among alumni and students about leadership, purpose, and decision-making.

### Datadog Comes to Stern for a Tech Industry Event

While Corporate Ambassador events are often held at partner companies, Stern also hosts gatherings on campus. Last fall the School hosted a tech industry event for Stern alumni working across the sector, along with MBA students interested in tech careers.

Professor Ilan Lobel, academic director of the Andre Koo Technology and Entrepreneurship MBA, led a fireside chat with Jimmy Caputo, director of product management at Datadog. They explored the forces reshaping the technology sector, including the rapid advancement of artificial intelligence and the role product leaders play in guiding innovation.
