# Farooq Kathwari (MBA '68), CEO of Ethan Allen, Joins Professor Michael Posner as Part of the C-Suite Speaker Series

March 14, 2018 ![Farooq Kathwari sits down with Professor Mike Posner](/sites/default/files/styles/246w/public/assets/images/FarooqKathwariCSuite.jpg?itok=4IteUFOt) Farooq Kathwari, (MBA '68) CEO of Ethan Allen, sat down with Professor [Michael Posner](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/faculty/bio/michael-posner), Director of the Center for Business and Human Rights, for a discussion as part of the C-Suite Speaker Series. Professor Bruce Buchanan kicked off the evening with introductory remarks. Mr. Kathwari shared stories from his career and the business principles he has applied as president and CEO of Ethan Allen. He also discussed his advocacy efforts involving refugees and shared how business leaders can make a difference. After the discussion and Q&A session, guests enjoyed a reception with Mr. Kathwari.
