## IRB Information

All research conducted in the Center for Behavioral Research must be previously approved by the University Committee on Activities Involving Human Subjects (UCAIHS), NYU’s IRB. Researchers must also be certified to conduct research with human subjects at NYU.

Information about becoming certified to conduct research with human subjects at NYU can be found [here](https://www.nyu.edu/research/resources-and-support-offices/getting-started-withyourresearch/human-subjects-research/tutorial.html).

Information about the process for getting a study approved can be found [here](http://www.nyu.edu/research/resources-and-support-offices/getting-started-withyourresearch/human-subjects-research/how-to-apply.html).

Forms and guidance for obtaining approval for a study from UCAIHS can be found [here](https://www.nyu.edu/research/resources-and-support-offices/getting-started-withyourresearch/human-subjects-research.html).
