## International Prospective Students

## Prior to Acceptance:

- Eligible students are automatically considered and reviewed for [merit-based scholarships](/portal-partners/financial-aid/scholarships-fellowships/merit-based). No additional materials or separate applications are needed.
- Review your [financial aid options](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/portal-partners/financial-aid/tools-resources/international-students).
- Review student loan options. Our international students have the option to borrow [private international student loans](/portal-partners/financial-aid/loans/private-loans/international-students) with a U.S. co-signer or without a U.S. co-signer.
- Research sources of alternative funding. Often, governments or private foundations in home countries offer scholarships and loans that you may be eligible for as an MBA student.
- [Additional Resources](/portal-partners/financial-aid/tools-resources/international-students) may also be available for international students.

## **After Acceptance:**

- Once you have been accepted to Stern and have submitted your deposit, you may apply for a [private student loan](/portal-partners/financial-aid/loans/private-loans/international-students).
