## Auditing a Class

A student who has secured the instructor's permission may register to audit a class based on availability. Once registered, you must complete the [Audit Request Form](https://docs.google.com/document/d/128ZqizBSOSfyQ7CuX31zSJkDlsnDAf75gfu2ZBwAV88/edit?usp=drive_link) and submit it to the Office of Records and Registration (<registrn@stern.nyu.edu>) before the final date to add the class.

- Full tuition and fees apply
- Audited classes do not count toward the required degree program credits.
- The following courses cannot be audited:
- Winter Intensive and Early Fall
- Free courses
- Course schedules may not overlap

Auditor status cannot be revoked once it has been requested. An audited class cannot be taken again for credit and a grade.
