## Sponsorship

NYU Stern Executive MBA classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays every other week and include 2 required one-week residency periods in the first year and 1 optional one-week residency period in the second year. As part of the formal application for admission, applicants **must secure time sponsorship** from their employer. Support from your employer for time out of the office is a necessary and critical component of the application process. Some organizations will also offer financial sponsorship. **Financial sponsorship** is **not required** to apply or enroll in the program. Financial aid is available. For more information on funding your MBA, please visit [Financing the MBA](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/programs-admissions/executive-mba/admissions/financing-the-mba/index.htm).

We welcome the opportunity to talk with your employer about sponsorship, and we invite employers to attend one of our monthly [information sessions](http://www.stern.nyu.edu/programs-admissions/executive-mba/admissions/attend-an-information-session/index.htm) to learn more about the Executive MBA program. For more information about how to discuss sponsorship with your manager or HR representative, please contact <executive@stern.nyu.edu>.
