## How did you prepare for the program before you began it?

As part of the EmpowHER Cohort for Women in Sustainable Finance, I received early access to Training the Street, which gave me a head start on accounting and finance basics. The resource was extremely helpful in supplementing my knowledge from classes and banking recruitment too!

## What class/professor has made the deepest impression on you?

The Sustainability for Competitive Advantage course with Professor Tensie Whelan has been an eye-opening foray into the world of sustainable finance. Impact investing is a huge interest area for me, and this class has helped me think about what materiality actually means for companies interested in seeking returns on sustainable investments.

## What advice do you have for prospective students?

Come with a North Star and be agile about your journey. My end goal has always been to find my way to community finance and impact investing, and coming to Stern has broadened my scope of pathways to get there!

## What advice would you give your first semester self?

Study at Bobst Library more! KMC's study rooms are great, but Bobst boasts gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows that are a feast for the eyes.

## What club or organization are you most proud of being a part of?

I love, love, love being a part of the Asian Business Society at Stern. I'm super proud of my Chinese heritage and love being able to connect with my Asian peers over our unique cultures. Being a part of ABS has inspired me to leverage my identity as a strength in all aspects of my life, especially my professional career.
