# Eligibility & Selection

##  Eligibility

To be eligible to enroll in our [Master's in Accounting](https://www.stern.nyu.edu/programs-admissions/masters-programs/ms-accounting) program, you must having the following:

Undergraduate Degree: A four-year bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in the U.S. or an equivalent degree from a foreign country. If you have not yet graduated from your undergraduate program, you are still eligible to apply. Mastery of English: Please review the [standardized test section](https://www.stern.nyu.edu/programs-admissions/masters-programs/ms-accounting/admissions/tests-waivers) to determine if you are required to take the IELTS, TOEFL or Duolingo exam to demonstrate your level of proficiency.

Pre-enrollment Requirements: Applicants must have successfully completed the listed [pre-enrollment course requirements](https://www.stern.nyu.edu/programs-admissions/masters-programs/ms-accounting/admissions/pre-enrollment-requirements) prior to enrolling in the program.
