Since 2001, the Barr Family International Studies Program (ISP) has explored the economic, cultural, and political histories of countries. Every junior at NYU Stern takes this one-of-a-kind course on the principles of International Economies and Trade during your spring semester. Your course will focus on a different global center of commerce in Asia, Europe, or South America. ISP presents the real-world opportunities and challenges that international firms face today.
This semester-long course includes an international trip during Spring Break to one of three cities in Asia, Europe or South America. Students travel overseas together, focus on a specific industry, meet with company executives, and observe a country’s culture firsthand. ISP culminates in the hallmark ISP Competition where students compete in small groups, and present a capstone assignment to classmates, professors and deans.
