George M. Buckley, J.D.

Adjunct Professor of Business Ethics


George M. Buckley, Jr. is currently a partner at Cullen & Dykman, LLP. Professor Buckley has extensive experience representing private and public sector employers in all areas of Labor and Employment. He has also represented numerous healthcare and not-for-profit organizations. He previously served as the Executive Vice President for Corporate and Legal Affairs of Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, where he directed the Hospital’s human resources, labor relations and legal activities. Prior to that, he was Vice President for Labor Relations for the New York City Transit Authority.

Mr. Buckley has served as a member of the Board of Directors of McMahon Services for Children and Good Shepherd Services in New York City and as a member of the Board of Directors’ Subcommittee on Personnel Practices of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Rockville Centre, NY.

Mr. Buckley has been an Adjunct Professor in New York University’s Stern School of Business since 1995, where he taught courses in Business Law, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior and Professional Responsibility. He has also lectured extensively on labor and employment topics.
