On Wednesday, April 10, MBA students celebrated the final weeks before graduation at the 2013 Bowling Night with President John Sexton and Dean Peter Henry.

On April 6, the Stern in Africa club (SIA) will host the 2013 NYU African Economic Forum, in partnership with NYU Africa House and The Council of Young African Leaders and Vital Voices.

Stern’s Entrepreneurs Exchange (EEX) is taking a new approach to how conferences work by arranging a series of "mini-treks" throughout the city, allowing attendees to leverage Stern’s location by visiting firms such as Warby Parker, ZocDoc, Foursquare, Betaworks, OpenSky, RebelMouse, Bitly, Fab.com, SinglePlatform, Sailthru and Iconic Hand Rolls.

Passport Day, an event organized by the SGov International Committee, will be held on Thursday, April 4 from 4:30 to 6:30 PM in Gould Plaza.

On March 8th, NYU Stern’s Entrepreneurs’ Exchange Club (EEX) will send more than 50 MBA students to Austin for the SXSW Interactive Conference. Over the past few years, SXSW Interactive has emerged as the premier event for entrepreneurs and entertainment/media/technology aficionados.

On Friday, March 8, the NYU Stern Latin American Business Association (LABA) will host its fourth annual Latin American Business Conference, themed, “Latin America: The New Breakout Region.” Speakers and panelists will discuss brand strategy and marketing, entrepreneurship, finance and macroeconomic issues.

The Stern Hedge Fund Association’s (SHFA) Second Annual Conference, themed, "Generating Alpha in a Low Growth Environment," will be held on March 8, 2013. The event will feature prominent practitioners and academics in the hedge fund industry.

The Stern Private Equity Club will host its Eighth Annual Stern Private Equity Conference on Friday, March 1, 2013. Themed, “The New Normal in Private Equity,” the conference will provide a forum for industry leaders to discuss the opportunities and risks of today's private equity and venture capital environment. Tepid global growth, regulatory dynamics, political pressure and financial market conditions are posing challenges to fundraising, deal financing and operations. The conference will foster thought-provoking discussions on the issues facing today's private equity and venture capital community.

On Thursday, February 28, 2013, NYU Stern MBA students, alumni and faculty will gather for the NYU Stern Strategy and Operations Club (SOC) Third Annual Strategy Forum, themed “Achieving Strategic Advantage Through Innovation.” Attendees will hear from strategy leaders across a variety of industries, including keynote speaker Mumtaz Ahmed, Chief Strategy Officer of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and a Principal at Deloitte Consulting, and a panel of representatives from strategy and consulting roles across several industries.
