Please Note:

  1. Payment is due to the Stern Bursar on or before August 1, 2013, for all continuing students. If you register AFTER August 1 (for the first time for the Fall semester), payment is due within 48 hours. Registration and service fees are non-refundable starting the third week of the term, September 17, 2013.
  2. Payments can be made by cash, check, money order, and travelers checks. Late Payments will incur an interest rate of 1% per calendar month, or any part thereof, (12% per annum) in addition to a $100 late payment fee.
  3. Students registering for 6 credits or more are eligible to use the 50/50 Payment Plan. Students using the Payment Plan must submit the agreement form along with payment. The second tuition payment is payable in full on November 1, 2013. Late Payments will incur an interest rate of 1% per calendar month, or any part thereof, (12% per annum) in addition to a $100 late payment fee.
  4. The effective date of any drop or withdrawal is the date the student completed the request on-line, in person (add/drop form done at the Office of Records & Registration) by fax (date on fax) or by mail (postmark date). Please refer to the Tuition Refund Schedule  to determine the refund you will receive.
  5. If you are NOT a US Citizen or Permanent Resident an $90 international visa fee will be charge to your account.

Health Insurance (International Students) Mandatory Health Insurance Fee ($3,439 per annum) for international students ( not US Citizen or Permanent Resident), who do not provide documentation of other health insurance coverage, payable upon registration. $1,295.00
Health Insurance (Domestic Students) Mandatory Basic Health Insurance Fee ($2,220 per annum) for domestic students registered for 12 or more credits, who do not provide documentation of other health insurance coverage, payable upon registration. $830.00
Late Payment Interest Any late tuition payments will result in a penalty charge of 12% interest per annum (1% per calendar month or any part thereof) on the unpaid balance, in addition to applicable late fees.

Doctoral Dissertation Microfilming & Copyright This fee is required only for those students requesting this additional service. $141.00

Maintaining Matriculation Students must apply for a leave of absence from an academic advisor and pay this fee to maintain matriculation in any Fall or Spring semester in which they drop or withdraw from all classes. (Ph.D. students must receive approval from the Doctoral Office.) Students are not required to maintain matriculation in the Summer semester. $410.00

1On or after September 3, 2013, in addition to the Late Registration Fee and Late Payment Fee, an interest rate of 1% per calendar month, or any part thereof, (12% per annum) will be charged on the total tuition and registration fees for the period starting from the first day of the term, September 3, 2013 until paid in full.
