The Working Professionals team offers Stern’s Executive MBA students and graduates a host of services dedicated to providing you with a competitive advantage in your career development:

  • Career Coaching: Develop a customized career strategy through 1:1 meetings with coaching staff.  Coaching can be delivered via Zoom, telephone, or in-person. Access to Career Coaching begins on day one when students start the EMBA program and continues for the long term as a benefit to all graduates of Stern
  • Networking: Connect with alumni through the Stern Network and through industry speakers and alumni networking opportunities
  • Workshops: Attend sessions on a wide range of professional development topics relevant to Executive MBA students including pivot perspectives, personal brand and advancing your career toward board service
  • Executive-in-Residence Program: Brings senior leaders across a number of industries to campus for industry overviews and 1:1 informationals
  • Industry Roundtables: Engage with alumni and industry leaders to enhance knowledge on market trends, specific job functions and possible career paths toward targeted professional goals
  • IGNITE Career Education Platform: Program designed to build foundational job-search skills for EMBA students through career development workshops and extensive search resources
  • Job Postings: Access targeted postings from Stern’s online job board 
  • Stern Recruitment: Eligible EMBA students will be able to recruit for full-time roles in the fall of their graduating year, pending completion of Careers program requirements
  • Online Resources: Access career content 24/7 via the EMBA Career Resource Hub Content includes:
    • Information and data on industries, companies, and salaries
    • Career assessments, worksheets and other self-reflection activities
