NYU Stern

JD/MBA Applicants

The NYU School of Law and the NYU Stern School of Business have a joint application process designed to simplify applying to the JD/MBA program. Detailed instructions for completing the JD/MBA application process are provided on the School of Law admissions website. Prior to applying, please note the JD/MBA application deadline and review both the JD admissions process and the instructions provided in the NYU Stern JD/MBA Application Supplement. The JD/MBA Application Supplement is currently undergoing annual revisions, and will be available shortly.

While there is only one JD/MBA application process, each school has a separate Admissions Committee and admissions process. You may be admitted to both programs, only one program or neither program in this process.

Students begin at the School of Law, and enrollment at Stern is deferred for two years. Students at the School of Law may apply to Stern in their first or second year by the JD/MBA application deadline.

JD/MBA applicants cannot apply to NYU Stern using the Stern online application or Consortium application. Individuals who already hold one of the individual degrees are not eligible for admission to the dual degree program.

College seniors applying to The William R. Berkley Scholarship Program are not eligible to apply to the JD/MBA program.
