The NYU Stern MS in Business Analytics, an advanced business degree program, teaches students both to understand the role of evidence-based data in decision making and to leverage data as a strategic asset. The program is designed for experienced professionals interested in gaining competitive advantage through the predictive potential of data.

The MS in Business Analytics Program is designed for experienced managers with oversight for and/or increasing responsibilities in areas that help drive greater efficiencies, manage costs and identify growth opportunities. Participants come from a broad range of sectors: Consumer Products, Energy, Financial, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Industrials, Technologies, NGO’s, Consulting, etc.

The strategic capstone is a collaborative effort presented at the culmination of the program that ties together the substantive content and practical case work taught throughout the year.

The program runs from May 2013 to May 2014. Participants can earn their degree in just 12 months over two calendar years within a 5 modular structure.

Applicants must have a Bachelor degree and strong grade point average; demonstrated high aptitude for quantitative analysis and academic success as evidenced by undergraduate and graduate coursework as applicable. There is a minimum of five years of full-time work experience.

Candidates are considered on a rolling admissions basis. We accept and review applications throughout the year. Therefore, it is advised to apply by as soon as possible.

Recognizing the value of the classroom, MS in Business Analytics features 5 modules of intensive class time. Although there are no on-line classes, approximately 15 hours of distance learning per week will be incorporated into the program to facilitate preparation, follow-up and work on projects between modules.

MS in Business Analytics graduates receive an NYU Master of Science degree.

The MS in Business Analytics Program features five intensive intellectually rigorous modules rotating between NYU Stern School of Business in NY and NYU Shanghai campus in Shanghai.

The program fee is USD 63,500. Included are tuition, course materials, some meals and official events. Hotel and travel expenses are not included.
