MBA Students Take 2017 "Doing Business in… Costa Rica" Course

In January, a group of MBA students traveled to San Jose for NYU Stern’s “Doing Business in… Costa Rica” course. Students attended classes at INCAE Business School to learn more about the Costa Rican economy, sustainable development and responsible labor practices. The group also visited the renowned Terrazu coffee growing region, learning first-hand about carbon-neutral agriculture and speaking with local farmworkers and coffee experts.

“With environmental and societal consciousness on the rise at major corporations, the DBi Costa Rica trip provided an invaluable look at how capitalism can achieve a better balance in terms of sustainability and human rights,” remarked MBA student Keith Riegart. “It was a thrill to have the opportunity to see it all in action.”
