NYU Entrepreneurs Test Their Ideas at Stern’s Lean Startup Summer Boot Camp

NYU Stern’s Berkley Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation recently hosted a new workshop series entitled, "Lean Startup Summer Boot Camp." The five-session series explored human-centered research, divergent thinking and problem solving to validate or invalidate startup or product ideas early on. Will Evans, design thinker-in-residence at NYU Stern and director of user experience design at The Library Corporation, worked with attendees during sessions on design thinking, the fundamentals of lean startup thinking, customer development for product testing, scaling product teams and the basics of demand creation. The boot camp attracted entrepreneurs and aspiring startup founders from schools across NYU, including the Stern School of Business; Tisch School of the Arts; Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development; School of Continuing and Professional Studies; Wagner Graduate School of Public Service; and the Polytechnic Institute.
