About Sunder Narayanan
Sunder Narayanan joined New York University Stern School of Business as a Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing in September 2006. Prior to this appointment, Professor Narayanan taught at NYU Stern as a Visiting Assistant Professor.
Before joining NYU, Professor Narayanan taught marketing at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and at The Wharton School. His research and teaching interests focus on the areas of Technology, Media, Networks, Globalization and Strategy. In addition to teaching, Professor Narayanan worked for four years in product management at Beecham Products International in India.
Professor Narayanan received an undergraduate degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, India, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad, India. He received his Ph.D. from Columbia University.
