The Cohort Leadership Project
The curriculum for the Cohort Leadership Project (CLP) builds on the Stern Community Values: explore, collaborate and engage. During your first semester here, you will take a series of weekly sessions on Fridays with your cohort led by two CLP leaders. Each week you will utilize teamwork to accomplish different tasks as well as learn important lessons around communication and other skills that will help you succeed at Stern. The objectives or CLP are to develop:
- Greater awareness of learning and interaction styles
- Effective team-based communication, learning and execution strategies
- Deeper understanding of ethical and social challenges facing tomorrow’s leaders
All of the teamwork strategies and skills you learn will be put to the test as you work in groups to win the CLP video challenge, securing bragging rights for your entire Cohort. Once CLP is finished, you and your Cohort will continue to work toward another common goal: success over the next four years at Stern.
