Term Dates

  • Fall semester: Early September – Late January*
*The last date that students attending in fall semester are expected to be in attendance is Mid December.
  • Spring semester: Early February – Mid-June

Approximate Living Expenses

  • On-Campus Room and Board: approximately €350 per month
  • Food (no meal plans available): students can prepare meals in the fully equipped, shared kitchens; groceries approximately €180 per month
  • Books and Necessary Class Materials: depends on the course; approximately €250 per semester
  • Local Transportation: Although most students will opt for a bicycle (second-hand bikes can be bought throughout the city; prices vary from €45 to €91) the Maastricht public transportation system runs frequently and has a reliable service.
  • Personal Expenses: approximately €100 per month
