Student Activities

Our Executive MBA students have access to a broad range of activities specifically designed for experienced professionals.

Speakers: On select class days, high-profile speakers come to campus to meet with Executive MBA students. Recent visitors have included Devon Pike, President of Givenchy US and Former CEO of De Beers North America; Frank Blake, Chairman and Former CEO of The Home Depot; and Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Laureate.

Career lunches: On class days, you will have the opportunity to learn from each other and alumni at organized lunchtime panel discussions. Recent career lunch topics have included discussions around “Discovering your Personal Leadership Brand,” "The Role of Executive Search Firms," and “Working in the Private Equity Industry.”

Boat cruise: Each August, we hold an evening boat cruise for all current students and alumni to mark the launch of a new school year. This is a great opportunity for you to meet and network with Executive MBA alumni.

Partner’s Day: Spouses and partners of current students are invited to this annual event to meet one another, sample a class and learn more about Stern.

As a member of the larger NYU Stern community, you will have access to a variety of school-wide opportunities including:

Clubs: Executive MBA students are invited to join a number of Stern’s professional, social and community clubs. For a full list of club offerings, visit the Student Activities page on the Full-Time website.

Langone Speaker Series: Executive MBA students are invited to NYU Stern’s Langone Speaker Series. For a list of recent speakers, visit the Langone Speaker Series page.

Alumni Holiday Celebration: Each year, Stern alumni from around the world come together at the Alumni Holiday Celebration.
