Admissions Tips

  • It is helpful to prepare for the GMAT or GRE. In addition to the test-prep courses, books and materials available, the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) offers tools to help you prepare at www.mba.com, and Educational Testing Services (ETS) offers tools to help you prepare for the GRE at www.takethegre.com.
  • Stern reviews your highest overall test score, and there is no downside to retaking a test. However, each school has its own policy regarding retaking tests. Be certain to research these policies prior to taking a test again.
