Our Policies

We aim to create a consistent, fair process across all employers and to respect our students’ academic requirements and recruiting needs.

The intent of these recruiting policies is to ensure a great recruiting experience at NYU Stern. We recommend all recruiters share these policies with their school recruiting teams, interviewers, and hiring managers. Any violation of these policies may result in corrective action from the Office of Career Development.

Please note that these policies apply to any organization recruiting a NYU Stern MBA student, whether the recruiting takes place on or off campus. For any questions, please contact the Office of Career Development.

Academic Commitment

Our students’ first priority is class and all other academic requirements. Employers should plan all recruiting events and interviews around these commitments. The Office of Career Development will help you identify dates and times that will avoid such conflicts and optimize attendance at your events. Recruiting partners should provide reasonable alternatives to any situation where academic conflicts arise.
