Information Systems, Operations and Statistics/Actuarial Science

New Courses Offered: 
  • Analytics and the Digital Economy (Professor Sonny Tambe)
    Within the last decade, there has been a dramatic rise in the use of tech skills and data analysis in many professions, including finance, marketing, and HR. Students in this course will engage with the world of data analysis for business, starting from using basic tools like Excel (and Excel Macros) and then using data analysis tools such as R and Tableau. 
  • Projects in Programming and Data Science (Professor Panos Ipeirotis)
    This is a project-based course, for students that are already familiar with programming in Python and SQL, and want to apply this knowledge (and beyond) to a topic of their interest.
