Multimer, a MIT spinoff company supported by NSF.gov, Matter.vc, and Urban-X (BMW/Mini), helps organizations quantify population sentiment in any given place: outdoor, indoor, and even virtual space. It does this by offering an easy, out-of-the box kit to measure, monitor, visualize, and analyze biosensor data at large scales. Multimer works with organizations including governments and NGOs; for these customers, understanding the effect of built environment on the brain and body is an important part of long-term sustainability. One Multimer upcoming project is to develop a Cyclist Stress map for UN-Habitat at the UN World Urban Forum next month.

Multimer seeks a business development intern to contribute to several projects including
1. leading customer discovery through phone and video interviews
2. researching and tracking potential investors
3. refining sales materials
4. researching the business implications of emerging data privacy and ethics policies

Multimer is committed to diversity and inclusion at all levels of its practice including its core team, data collection participants, and customers. It welcomes applicants from diverse ethnic, socioeconomic, and professional backgrounds who will take a progressive approach to business development. If you are an interested candidate, please send a cover letter, resume, and optional writing sample or portfolio to team@multimerdata.com with the subject “Business Development Intern.”
