1st Annual Conference Volatility Institute NYU Shanghai: Liberalizations in Emerging Markets

Hosted by the Volatility Institute at NYU Shanghai (VINS), Economics School at Fudan University, and Pudong Institute of Finance, the VINS First Annual Conference at New York University at Shanghai will be held on November 20th, 2015.
2015年11月20日,上海纽约大学金融波动研究所将与复旦大学经济学院和浦东国际金融研究交流中心共同主办第一届上海纽约大学金融波动研究所年会——“新兴市场金融自由化”国际会议。

Emerging markets, especially China, recently have speeded up the liberalization process in many financial areas. Measuring, modeling and predicting the impact of these liberalization practices are of very importance. For instance, All the topics related to “Liberalizations in Emerging Markets” will be discussed on the conference, including asset pricing, corporatefinance, market microstructure, behavioral finance, capital markets,macro-financial linkages, and international finance.
新兴市场,特别是中国,最近在许多金融领域加速了自由化进程。对这些自由化行为的影响进行估算、构建模型并合理预测十分重要。因此,此次会议主要探讨包括资产定价、市场微观结构、行为金融、资本市场、宏观金融联系和国际金融在内的所有关于“新兴市场自由化”的议题。

Through academic and panel discussions, we intend to invite the financial experts from international organizations, universities, research institutes, and financial industries to take part in the discussions. In addition, Robert Engle, Professor of Finance at NYU Stern School of Business and 2003 Nobel Laureate in Economics, will deliver the keynote speech at the conference. We hope through various formats of conversations, this conference will be a good opportunity for sharing ideas, discussing financial issues and promoting communications between financial practitioners and researchers.
